Terms of Use

These terms are an agreement between you and [LEGAL ENTITY NAME] ("we," "us"), the developer of Glowmatic. They are not an agreement with Apple or Google. By downloading or using Glowmatic, you agree to them.

The license

We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use Glowmatic on devices you own or control, for your own non-commercial purposes, for as long as you comply with these terms. You may not resell, sublicense, or use the app to build a competing product.

What Glowmatic does

Glowmatic lets you select photos from your device and generates a restyled version of each one using a third-party image model, applying a deterministic finishing pass on our servers. You keep ownership of your original photos and of the results Glowmatic generates from them.

Credits and purchases

Glowmatic runs on credits: you're given some free credits on install, and each photo you restyle uses one, regardless of style: every style is available to every user. Additional credits and any subscription plans are purchased through Apple's or Google's in-app purchase system; their price, billing period and what they unlock are shown on the purchase screen before you buy.

• Payment is charged to your Apple ID or Google Play account at confirmation of purchase.
• Auto-renewing subscriptions, if offered, renew automatically unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Your account is charged for renewal within 24 hours prior, at the price you agreed to.
• Manage or cancel a subscription any time in your App Store or Google Play account settings, not in Glowmatic.
• Credits are consumed when a photo is submitted for processing and are not refundable except as described below or as required by law.

If a photo fails to process for a reason on our end, the credit spent on it is refunded automatically to your balance. Glowmatic does not require an account, so a lost or reset device means a lost credit balance; there is no way for us to restore it to a new device.

Acceptable use

You agree not to use Glowmatic to upload or generate content that:

• depicts a real person without their consent, including to mislead, harass, or impersonate them;
• is sexually exploitative of a minor, or sexual content involving a minor in any form;
• is illegal where you live, or infringes someone else's rights;
• is intended to deceive, defraud, or defame another person.

We may refuse to process, delete, or suspend access for content or accounts that violate this section, and may report unlawful content to the relevant authorities.

No warranty

Glowmatic is provided "as is." We don't guarantee the app will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that any generated result will meet your expectations. To the extent allowed by law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose. If your jurisdiction doesn't allow this kind of disclaimer, only the part that applies to you is limited to the minimum required.

Limitation of liability

To the extent allowed by law, [LEGAL ENTITY NAME] is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of Glowmatic. Our total liability for any claim will not exceed the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim arose.

Termination

You can stop using Glowmatic and delete it at any time. We may suspend or terminate access for a device that violates these terms. Sections that by their nature should survive termination (ownership, disclaimers, liability limits) continue to apply.

Apple and Google as third-party beneficiaries

If you downloaded Glowmatic from the App Store, you acknowledge that Apple has no obligation to provide maintenance or support for the app, and that Apple is a third-party beneficiary of these terms with the right to enforce them against you. The same applies to Google for downloads from Google Play. Any product liability claim, claim that Glowmatic fails to meet an applicable legal or regulatory requirement, or claim arising from consumer protection law is our responsibility, not Apple's or Google's.

Export compliance

You confirm that you are not located in a country subject to a government embargo, and are not on any government list of prohibited or restricted parties.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms as the app changes. If we make a material change, we'll update the date below and, where required, notify you in the app.
